Awesome news to share – Our new community AED Defibrillator has been installed this week at Killenagh Park. Located externally at the side of our clubhouse, the new AED Defib has been a priority for the committee to help increase the well being of our members and the general public (especially if something happens). A big thank you to Wexford County Council Community Grants and also a sizable donation from Jerome Lacarriere and the team at The Irish House pub in Aalborg, Denmark for bringing this project to fruition.

We will be arranging AED Defib training in the coming weeks for our Coaches, Committee Members and any members of the neighbouring community who would like to join us are very welcome, get in touch.

Killenagh Wanderers lifted the Wexford Football League Tier 2 Summer League Cup following a 2-1 victory against Kiltealy Celtic FC. A first cup win in 19 years. Second half goals by Darragh Doran and Billy Dunne saw off a really strong challenge by Kiltealy who pulled a goal back with 5 minutes to go to set up a nervy ending. Killenagh who are managed by Colm Cosgrave have only conceded 3 goals in 7 games had enough to see it through and the 200+ Ballygarrett supporters who were in attendance in Ferrycarrig Park lead the celebrations as friends, family and loved ones of the team took to the pitch to celebrate. Co-Captains Seamus Doyle and Brian O’Connor accepted the trophy and were quick to praise the opposition team for such a tough game in their speech.
