The Killenagh Wanderers A.F.C Committee agreed on an ambitious development plan for the coming year.
One of the big projects for the coming months will be the redevelopment of the Sports Hall with a new Astroturf Surface. This will make the Sports Hall more suitable for indoor training in the Winter Months and available to rent out to the public when not in use by the club.
Also planned is the resurfacing the Carpark and Driveway leading to the Clubhouse and Capping / Plastering the entrance wall.
In order to fund our new Development Plan, the Committee have set an ambitious target of €10,000 to raise between now and the end of the Summer through Fundraising, GoFund Me donations and Corporate Sponsorship.
The club successfully completed their 2022 Development Plan which included installing new floodlights on the outdoor all weather pitch, the erection of a new storage shed and the aquisition of a new ride on lawnmower for the club. This was achieved primarily with our successful Sports Capital Grant application from Sports Ireland and the National Lottery.
