A mixed weekend for Killenagh Wanderers with seven results across youth and senior leagues — one hard-earned win offset by six defeats.

Saturday 5th September

The U10 Black side were narrowly edged out by Gorey Rangers in a high-scoring encounter, 5–4. The Youths team suffered a heavy defeat to Courtown Hibs, while the U10 Reds also went down 5–1 to the same Gorey side. The U12s fell 3–2 to Courtown Hibs U12A. However, the U14s brought the sole win of the weekend, beating Gorey Rangers U14C 6–5 in a thrilling game.

Sunday 6th September

The senior sides had a difficult Sunday. Killenagh WFL Div 3A were beaten 6–4 by Courtown Hibs, and the WFL Div 5A side went down 3–0 to Enniscorthy Town.

One win out of seven — but that U14 result is one to remember. Plenty of training ahead.
